Fantastic soul-rock sound, love the contrast of clean brass with distorted guitars. Great horn arrangement with plenty of variety. Nice solos as well. Solid straight-ahead rock groove, bass and drums are working well together. Killer vocal performance with a blue-eyed soul delivery that's just the right amount of passionate and over-the-top, harmonies sound great in the chorus. Another great contrast here, is the verse/chorus dynamic. The verses have a great fervent intensity to them that's reflected in the music, while the choruses feel much more melodic and inviting.
